Privacy Policy
HomeGen is an iOS app that turns a phone-shot walkthrough video into a finished real-estate listing reel. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you control.

TL;DR
- We collect the minimum needed to make your renders work: your Apple Sign In identifier, your voice sample (if you choose to clone your voice), your listing details, and your walkthrough videos.
- We don't sell your data. Ever.
- Your voice sample is yours. You can delete it from your account at any time.
- Payment is handled by Stripe — we never see your card.
What we collect
When you sign in
- Apple user identifier (an opaque string Apple gives us, stable across sign-ins from the same Apple ID).
- Email address — either your real one or Apple's private relay (your choice). We use this for receipts, billing notices, and account recovery only.
- Your name (only on first sign-in, and only if you share it).
When you set up your brand
- Agent name, title, license number, contact info (phone, email, website, social handles).
- Brokerage name + address.
- Headshot photo + brokerage logo (if you upload them).
- Brand colors + font choice.
When you clone your voice
- The 60–90 second voice recording you make.
- We store this in Cloudflare R2 so we can re-clone your voice if ElevenLabs ever drops the slot. You own this file. Request deletion at any time.
When you make a render
- The source walkthrough video you upload.
- The listing details (address, price, beds/baths/sqft, features, description, open house dates).
- The finished render video.
- Cost telemetry (how long the render took, how many TTS characters were used).
Errors + diagnostics
- When the app crashes or hits a server error, we capture an anonymized stack trace via Sentry. No personal data is included.
- Server logs (request URLs, response codes) for operational debugging.
How we use it
- To make your renders. Source video + listing data → AI script → voice generation → assembly. That's the product.
- To bill you. Stripe gets your email + Stripe customer ID. We never see your card.
- To recover your voice if needed. Stored voice samples let us re-clone silently if ElevenLabs reclaims a slot.
- To improve quality. We may look at anonymized error reports to fix bugs.
We do not:
- Sell your data.
- Share your data for advertising.
- Train AI models on your content.
- Look at your renders unless you ask us to (e.g., for support).
Where your data lives
We use these subprocessors:

Each subprocessor has their own privacy practices we rely on.
How long we keep it
- Voice samples: Until you delete them or your account.
- Renders: 90 days from creation, then automatically deleted from our servers (you can save copies to your Camera Roll any time).
- Source walkthrough videos: 7 days post-render, then automatically deleted.
- Account data (email, brand profile, listing snapshots): Until you delete your account.
- Subscription records: Retained per Stripe's data-retention policy (Stripe holds these, not us).
- Server logs: 30 days, rolling.
What you can do
- Delete your account. Email ethan@homegen.app. We process within 7 days. All voice samples, renders, source videos, and account data are wiped.
- Delete a single voice sample. Same address. We do it within 24 hours.
- Export your data. Email us. You get a zip of every render we still have, plus your account record as JSON.
- Stop renders. Cancel your subscription via Settings → Manage Subscription anytime. Future renders stop; past renders are retained per the schedule above until you ask us to delete them.
Children's privacy
HomeGen is built for licensed real-estate professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change how we collect or use your data, we'll notify you by email and in-app banner at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
Older versions of this policy are kept in the public Git history.
